Development and trend of flexographic printing technology

Flexographic printing is a branch of letterpress printing. Flexographic p rinting is similar to letterpress printing in terms of printing principle, bu©t different from traditional letterpress printing in terms of the composition ofπ printing plate, ink and embossing process. The transfer of images in the ☆printing process is completed by a flexible photosensitive resin p late (Printingplate) or a rubber stick with patterns. Originated in the Unite≈d States in the early 1920s, the aniline ink used in the early stage wa≤s toxic and failed to develop. Since then, ink manufacturers have begun↓ to use acceptable color reagents, which were renamed Flexographi×c Process at the 14th packaging seminar held in 1952 in the United State≠s.
